Defibrillator Product Support

Our Product support service is only available when you purchase a live Defibrillator (AED) from us and is valid for the warranty duration of your selected AED.

Prior to shipping we will record details from your AED such as serial number, electrode pad and battery expiry dates so we can remind you when they are due to expire.

When your AED has been delivered please contact our friendly team quoting your order number on 0330 043 5818 or email us at sales@defibwarehouse.co.uk to schedule a phone call with an advisor to guide you through setting up your AED and ongoing checks required.

We will then discuss and advise on the best location for your defibrillator using details you provide. We will also inform you of any further recommendations as a result of details you give us.

If you require any technical support we are here to give assistance after your AED is in place on 0330 043 5818. Please remember to quote your order number when calling for setup or product support.

AED Service/Health Check

Our AED Service/Health Check is available for new and existing customers at a fixed price of £175 + VAT per AED.
You can also purchase our AED Service/Health Check for any defibrillator you already purchased from us or other supplier.

When ordering an AED Service/Health Check please add the type of AED and device serial number in the order notes at checkout. Once your order is placed our friendly team will be in contact to arrange a date for our engineer to visit your premises.

The comprehensive checks include:

A full visual check of the unit to check for damage to the casing, LCD screen, buttons and connections.
Battery and electrode pad check for compatibility, installation/expiration date, damage and when replacements are due
A check of the electrode pad connection terminal to ensure it is clear of debris and in good condition
Where appropriate the automated external defibrillator is connected to a simulator and turned on. The defibrillator must administer a shock, at the correct energy level, when appropriate (shockable heart rhythm, VF or VT) and not administer a shock when appropriate (no heart rhythm) to pass the test.
A certificate is issued to verify the AED has passed or failed the Service/Health Check (please note: if electrode pads or battery have expired/not fit for use the unit will fail inspection)

We recommend that your AED is Serviced on an annual basis to ensure any problems are caught early.

Automated external defibrillation (AED) user course

This course teaches the essential skills required by an AED user and gives you the confidence to know exactly what to do in this kind of emergency. If an AED is used quickly in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) survival rates can be as high as 70 – 80%. No previous first aid knowledge is necessary to attend an AED course.

The maximum group size per instructor is 12 students. We provide lots of training equipment to ensure maximum hands on learning.

Although AED’s are easy to operate it is essential staff are trained properly to ensure they are competent and confident to act in an emergency.
