The HeartSine Paediatric Pad-Pak is designed for use on children from 1-8 years old or under 25kg/55lbs in weight. Pads are placed on the front and back of the child as shown on the pad diagrams. Shock strength is reduced automatically to 50J with the Paediatric PAD-PAK inserted. 3.5-4 year shelf life for use with the Heartsine 300P, Heartsine 360P, HeartSine 350P and HeartSine 500P.

The Paediatric Pad-Pak system is unique to HeartSine and saves you in many ways. Firstly it contains both the battery and pads in one simple to replace cartridge. So there is only ever one expiry date and only ever one component to replace. We notify you prior to the 4 year expiry. Rather than have a large, expensive (and heavy) battery in a device that may never be used and costs you a lot to replace the battery, HeartSine have come up with the single-event pad-pak concept. After an event you have to replace the pads on any defibrillator – so its no harder to replace a pad-pak. And this means less weight, less cost, less confusing overlapping expiring components. And if you have a genuine event, HeartSine will give your replacement pad-pak free (subject to some simple terms and conditions).

Please note that while the Paediatric Pad-Pak-04 is inserted, the live CPR feedback is intentionally disabled due to the difference in a child’s physique.
