Register Your Defibrillator On The Circuit
What is The Circuit?
TheCircuit.uk is the UK’s National Defibrillator Network it maps defibrillators across the UK and connects them directly and automatically to the Ambulance Services. The Circuit aim is to locate and register the UK’s estimated 100,000 defibrillators, so that ambulance services can direct bystanders to their nearest defibrillator and increase a person’s chances of survival. By registering your defibrillator this provides Ambulance Control Centres across the UK with your device’s location which can then be provided to 999 callers when reporting a cardiac arrest emergency.

Every year in the UK, more than 40,000 people have an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) and less than 1 in 10 survive an OHCA. Early defibrillation and CPR can more than double the chances of surviving. It is estimated that 70% of Defibrillators are unknown to Ambulance Services and less likely to be used in an emergency. This is where you can help by registering your Defibrillator on TheCircuit.uk
