As part of our commitment to making the UK safer and more prepared for Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Defib Warehouse will be running a defibrillator giveaway every month.
The defibrillator will be donated to a charity or community somewhere in the UK. Do you have a special charity or community in mind that would benefit from a lifesaving defibrillator? Let us know and nominate them through the form below.
The impact of a defibrillator
Having a defibrillator nearby in a cardiac arrest can mean the difference between life and death. In the UK, survival rates for Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest can be as low as 6%.
With immediate CPR and a defibrillator shock within 3 to 5 minutes, this can improved to as high as 74%.
Our defibrillator giveaway helps provide another AED into a community which could save a life when every second counts.
