This is the Defibtech Lifeline AED semi-automatic defibrillator supplied with the standard battery pack, which has a standby life of 5 years.
Key Features of Defibtech Lifeline AED (Semi-Automatic)
Tough and robust design: Tested to military standards for shock and vibration. IP rating 54: splash proof and dust protected with battery pack installed. Survives a 1 metre drop in standby mode and operates from 0 to 50°C.
Voice prompts: Clear voice instructions are given to the user once the unit is switched on using the green on/off button, guiding the user through the operation of the AED
Self tests: This AED performs automatic daily, weekly and monthly self tests, ensuring all circuitry is functioning correctly and that it is always ready for rescue. The Lifeline AED checks for pad presence daily. Unit and battery pack system tests can be initiated by the user.
Status indicator: The unit has a green status light so you can see at a glance that the unit has passed its daily self test and is rescue ready. If the unit shows a red light, then there is an error and the unit requires attention.
Pre-connected electrodes: Adult defibrillation pads are pre-connected to the AED, saving vital time in a rescue situation. Cable length is approximately 122cm.
Waveform: The Lifeline AED delivers a biphasic truncated exponential, impedance-compensated shock. Adult: 150 Joules, Child / Infant: 50 Joules.
Standard 5-year battery: The standard battery pack (Defibtech model DBP-1400) is rated for 125 defibrillation shocks or 8 hours of continuous operation, with a standby life of 5 years.
Rescue Protocol: AHA / ERC (default), supports protocol updates
